Babysitter, Nanny and Mother's Helper in Concorezzo – Alessia Z.

About Alessia

I am writing this letter to introduce myself; my name is Alessia and I am 19 years old. I live in a small country in the north of Italy. My family is a typical Italian family composed by five peoples: me, my dad, my mother, my brother and my sister who lives on her own. My mother’s Giovanna is a teacher of the primary school and is also thanks to her that I cultivated the love for children. My father, Angelo, is a builder he has a binding job where there are a lot of responsibilities. My brother Simone (26years old) is an electrician and my sister Mayra lives on her own in a little town in the mountain. Me and my family use to go to her to spend summer and Christmas holiday in the mountain. I consider myself a lucky person because I have a united family and my parents are very supportive. I love travelling, and I had the possibility to visit lot of nice cities and countries.. Rome, Santo Domingo, Brazil, Cuba, London, German.. I love discover new places and new cultures, visit cities. In my free time I like cycling, going out with my friends and playing volleyball. I play this sport since i was 8 years old and at present I also teach volleyball to a group of children aged from 6 to 9 years old for two days a week. I'm a sportive girl and I also like skiing, swimming, horse riding and playing tennis. As to my childcare experiences, I will list the most recent ones. Now I'am in Irland for six month, in Omagh and have got 3 children (2-7-10 years old) Ayanne have got 2 years old and stay with us all the day, while adeena and mohammed became to School at 3.00 pm. I use to look after Alice and Nicole during my summer and Christmas holidays, when I go to the mountain. Alice (3 years old), is an active and sweet child, and together we have lot of fun. Alice's parents have a farm with animals and when I babysit her, sometimes we go together to visit her father and we do simple gardening activities or we give food to animals. With Alice I also like painting, drawing, playing, horse riding, and walking by the Lake. I stay with her from morning to afternoon, therefore I prepare her breakfast and lunch and I help Alice to get ready for the day(shower-brush teeth-dressing). I look after Alice in Summer months and Winter (10 days for Christmas holiday) for 5 days a week from 8.00 to 17.00. In the same town lives also Nicole, (8 years old) and when I spend my holidays there I also stay with her in the late afternoon for 2 days a week. I help Nicole with her school homework and sometimes we also go out to walk with her dog and mine. At present I'm looking after Matteo ( 6 years old), a beautiful child; I use to stay with him one week end per month when his mum is busy at work. I help him with his homework and after that we also play together. In the past I also did animator activities in the youth church group of my town, with children aged from 6 to 8 years old. It was nice to organize group games, sports and activities. We did also excursions and we went also in the mountain for half day trips. Since September 2015 I am helping a group of foreign children (from 11 to 13 years old) to do homework and school subjects reviewing, the project is organized by the primary school where my mother works. This is an occasionally experience, but I'm always ready to give my help when necessary. I'm a smiling girl, sociable, mature and determined. I look forward to this experience which will make me grow. Working with children has been one of my dreams since I was a child. I hope to meet you soon Best regards, Alessia.
